Brook took a lot of stick from posters on here who had hardly even seen him fight before. Buut he did well tonight against a fighter who makes things tough with his style. It was real messy at times.

I always fancied Brook to beat Porter, the same why i expected him to beat Alexander. I'd love to see him face Khan next..another big domestic fight.

You were talking about the fight with Malignaggi. That was what I was replying about. For tonight's fight, we can say they were both clean. But for the prior fight, we don't know if Porter was clean or not.

Followed by a barrage of punches to the back of Brook's head. Porter acted like a frustrated 5 year old in there tonight. Like a boy who didn't get what he wanted. Porter needs to grow the *** up.

yup forgot to mention they were back of the head punches... i guess its ok for the popular fighter to foul but if the britt holds and stop the fouls then hes wrong and he should get points taken from him( bad Brook take the fouls like a good boy and go home). the only thing missing was low blows by Porter.

Very disappointing fight and disappointing night. I would have no problem with Kell Brook winning if he had fought a clean fight. However, if the only way you can win is by holding your opponent 30 times per round, you don't deserve a victory. I had Porter winning based on his aggressiveness anyway, but, regardless of who wins a fight, I hate to see it won like this.

Brook did what he had to do. Porter is a short swarmer who tends to lead in with his head and throw rabbit punches. Brook did what he had to do to create space and kept his composure like a real champ. Porter fought like an amateur, and did too much roughhousing/wrestling without landed anything cleanly and effective. I'll have no problem with the boxer getting upper hand in a main event championship fight when it comes to that type of style. Bradley vs Porter would be a fun fight though. A lot of wrestling and wild punches would happen in that fight.

It would make sense for Khan to fight Brook next rather than Guerrero or Alexander. It's the better fight, and the better business in my opinion.
