That's not what Brook was doing. He wasn't able to use his jab effectively to maintain distance, so he resorted to holding Porter any time Porter got inside. Occasionally, he was able to catch Porter with clean punches when Porter was coming in too aggressively, but for every time Brook was able to catch Porter, he probably held him twice.

True but brook INITIATED alot of the clinches by doing a wlad vs povetkin type of hitting and holding.

A New Star Is Born At Welterweight and I personally Welcome It! Never really bought the Porter hype because it was no way that he improved since that Diaz Draw and Kell Brook exposed it

So cong**** to Kell Brook, he just entered the upper class of Welterweights but it doesn't get easier after this, now it gets HARDER but I think he showed tonight that he has the talent to compete with any of them. The Inside Fighting and him pushing Porter around, I wasn't expecting that but I did post weeks ago that if he pushes back he can beat Porter and that is exactly what he did Because Porter depends on being the stronger guy on the inside because of his American Football Background so he kinda depend on Mauling You and outworking you inside but Kell was not only able to out-box him from the outside but also beat him at his own game on the inside.
