I thought Porter would win this fight but the better guy won tonight. I scored the fight 115 to 113 for Brook. I was impressed with Brook the guy was calm and in control in the ring every since the first round, he hurt Porter throughout the fight and deserve to win tonight. Porter will bounce back from this.

Brook edged it but he didn't do much besides landing a couple clean shots a round and then clinching. I give him credit for staying focused despite all that rough **** Porter was doing, but neither guy looked particularly good tonight.

This is why I was calling for Khan to sign a deal to fight Thurman last week. Now Brook (IBF Champ) is talking Thurman, and Khan would be stuck choosing between ex-champs Alexander & Guerrero. If Brook beats Thurman, Floyd will be looking to unify the titles before he retires. Khan will be azz out again! Props to Brook for seeking the harder challenges like Porter and Thurman.

Some of the people on here are complete morons... Porter wasn't on PED's when he fought Paulie. He was simply fighting a guy who was taller and rangier than Paulie and also had more power. I mean seriously, Paulie didn't have any of the physical advantages that Brook had against the same opponent, fools.

Got to agree with you, these armchair experts are some seriously fickle guys! Anyway, I was very impressed by Kell Brooks performance and demeanor throughout the whole fight. I believe Brooks just proved he is for real and not some network sponsored hype job.

You're completely, horribly, sickeningly wrong to compare Porter to Duran, Tyson, or especially Hagler, who fought nothing like that at all. At least with Tyson and Duran there's the vague connection that both guys go forward, though Porter doesn't throw his punches anything like them.

Hagler? Dude, watch a Hagler fight besides Hagler/Hearns.
