That exacly my point. Brook was holding the entire fight. You cant punch if they hold you so much. Mayweather and hopkins both hold alot so I guess its ok in boxing. It isnt a hugging contest.

Mayweather and Hopkins will tie opponents up strategically. This often occurs after they have landed a punch.

That's not what Brook was doing. He wasn't able to use his jab effectively to maintain distance, so he resorted to holding Porter any time Porter got inside. Occasionally, he was able to catch Porter with clean punches when Porter was coming in too aggressively, but for every time Brook was able to catch Porter, he probably held him twice.

The judge who scored this fight a draw should be investigated and at the least fired for being incompetent.

Porter isn't a threat without the PEDs like most Floyd opponents. All Floyd opponents look great on PEDs before they fight him..then when they have the drugs out of the system... they look average..same thing would have happened with Porter... so for the people who were calling for that fight...

Pac is clean and Mayweather knows this that's why he continues to duck that fight...

Christ there must be some new fans to boxing in this thread. Clinching is a fundamental element of the sport you mongoloids. His holding negated Porter's aggressiveness. You win fights by clean, effective punching, not missing and landing wide shots to the back of your opponent's head.

Brook landed all the clean punches, wobbled him multiple times, and pretty much clean swept the last half of the fight, or damn close.

I knew some ****** POS would have something to say about my comment. What the hell does fighting wildly have to do with holding 30 times per round? Brook won by hitting and then holding his opponent, the same style that Ricky Hatton made famous. He doesn't deserved to be praised for that.
