u dont need to outbox khan to win. all u have to do is tag him and his game plan will be thrown right out the window.. especially if its manny doing the tagging, as a former sparring partner khan would want to try and one up manny to prove that he's the better fighter and that will play right into pac's game plan.

I think when people are looking at Pacquiao they are still seeing the man who brutalized everyone.

I just don't really remember him looking partiularly good in the last couple of years, and I think Khan looked pretty good in his last fight. Of course, Collazo is not in Pacquiao's class by any means, but it still applies.

Let's see if Pacquiao can stop Algieri. I don't think he can.

Actually it was something along the lines of Khan's father insisting of such.

Why is it ******ed to believe Khan wins?

The people who are ******ed are the ones saying Khan has no chance. Of course he does, only an idiot would say otherwise. Has he got a weak chin? Absolutely. Has he also got quick feet and hands and decent pop? Of course.

He's also improved his defense. Pacquiao has become worse unfortunately.

            o'rly? LOL ---

Freddie Roach has hit back at Amir Khan’s claims that he dumped him because of his Parkinson’s Disease.

Khan says part of the reason why he sacked Roach as his trainer following July's surprise loss to Danny Garcia was that the Hall of Famer’s health was deteriorating.

Roach has been battling Parkinson’s for years and the former WBA and IBF light-welterweight king claims it was affecting the quality of his training.

“It’s hard to see him older and getting worse,” said Khan. “Freddie, with the Parkinson’s Disease, he was struggling with instructions and couldn’t move as well.”

Roach angrily disputes this and despite his condition, he has been named Trainer of the Year three times in the last four years.

The American said Khan and his team never mentioned his health when they cited their reasons for replacing him with Virgil Hunter in September.

Roach says their gripe was that he wasn’t giving Khan enough attention because he also trains Manny Pacquiao and Julio Cesar Chavez Junior.

“If that was true, why would he say to me fire Manny Pacquiao and Chavez Junior and they would keep me?” said Roach.

“Him, his father, his lawyer and his uncle all said that. It had nothing to do with Parkinson’s. Parkinson’s had nothing to do with it. They know that. And I wish them the best of luck.”

I just don't know if Pacman has it in him anymore, he's lost that edge in speed, his demeanour is totally different, he's 2-3 fights away from retirement. I could definitely see Khan winning.

Khan won a close fight with Lamont Peterson (IMO) and barely got by Julio Diaz. The Garcia KO would always linger around as well. I'd like to think Pacquiao is better than those 3 fighters. He would win a decision over Khan, he's not the same 'fighter' he used to be, he likes to box more often now. He boxed Bradley both times, and boxed Rios. I don't see him all of a sudden "fighting" Khan, he'll try and box him and that's why I don't see a KO or any knock downs. Khan would be competitive in a 12 round loss, something like 8-4, 7-5 but the rounds he loses will be clear Pacquiao rounds.

                      Khan explains it.
                      heres more for u --

Amir Khan's head has been spinning since his loss to Danny Garcia - and I don't just mean because of that shuddering left hook.

Less than 24 hours after his shock defeat, he almost seemed to be blaming his trainer Freddie Roach, claiming he had not worked enough on his defence.

When asked if he would split with the Hall of Fame trainer, his response was: "Not yet."

That was hardly a ringing endorsement for Roach.

Then on Wednesday when Khan welcomed the US Olympic team to his Bolton gym, he still sounded befuddled.

He talked vaguely about bringing someone on board to work with him during his entire training camp to sharpen up his defence.

He said ominously: "I'm a Freddie Roach fighter, but things can change."

Khan will take a break from boxing over Ramadan and he needs to consider his next move very carefully.

His frustration at not getting enough one-on-one time with Roach is understandable.

Yet he has been working with Roach for four years and never raised this issue before.

Also it may be difficult for Roach to give Khan the undivided attention he needs and, like it or lump it, Manny Pacquiao remains the biggest star in the Wild Card gym.

There's also Julio Cesar Chavez Junior to accommodate and Roach cashes in on his reputation as the world's best trainer by filling his gym with world champions.

The dilemma for Khan is if he leaves Roach, sure he will get more one-on-one attention, but will that new trainer be as good?

There's talk of him going to Buddy McGirt, who trains Matthew Macklin, but the Khan camp overlooked him four years ago when they chose Roach.

There's also the legendary Manny Steward, but Khan would be in a similar understudy position because his champion charge is Wladimir Klitschko.

It's a tough call for Khan and perhaps he should stop pointing the finger at Roach and look closer to home for the reasons why he lost to Garcia.

As much as Khan may try and put his loss down to one freakish punch, he still didn't follow Roach's gameplan.

He didn't box behind the jab as Roach instructed and he took too many chances as he went after Garcia.

While exciting, that strategy is also risky as Khan saw in the third when Garcia caught him flush.

So, perhaps rather than demanding more one-on-one attention from Roach, Khan should listen better in the time he already has with him.
