Did he say that? at least they didn't pitifully quit like he did against Pavlik.

How do you see this fight going?

Rubio is better than Geale - Rubio could have beat Jr, but JR was waaay too big on the night, and remember he skipped out on the drug test - so the world will never know. What makes Rubio a live Dog is that he refuses to believe the hype and he is coming for that strap! The man said he can KO GGG! I have yet to hear an opponent say that about GGG ... I love it

Rubio was clearly getting pummeled by Pavlik so I really don't fault him for quitting. He wasn't gonna win anyway, so why risk the rest of the career over it? Rubio vs GGG will be an interesting matchup. Rubio has a bunch of experience, easily the most experienced of any GGG opponent so far, but what happens when GGG connects solidly? Or vice versa? Can't wait for this one.

Like the rest that ran their mouth before they stepped into the ring with Golovkin, Rubio too will fall hard to the canvas.
GGG - (W) by KO within 8 rounds.

This is serious business, Rubio. Not a game, serious business. Keep quiet.

Apparently Deontay Wilder said that he's taking a big risk against the joe he's facing Saturday night and I posted in the thread that I wonder if he was able to keep a straight face when he made that statement. Well now I'm wondering if Rubio was able to keep a straight face when he made the statement that he believes he can knockout Golovkin.

How many rounds do you estimate Rubio will survive long enough to see bro?

                    Ah I was anticipating it.
Geale said there is noway he would get taken out like Macklin then Caparello said similar that Kovalev wouldn't take him out like Geale got taken out lol

Rubio is sturdy but his defense is horrible and he likes to stand and trade & fight off the ropes too much - huge don't against GGG.
I think he will be game and have his moments but get broken down around mid-point.
Harder fight than Geale, easier than Adama based on his awkward style.
I think Rubio might be the best GGG opponent to date, I don't think he is as bad as he often gets made out to be by any stretch.

Pre fight: 'There is noway I get taken out like Macklin & Geale'

Post fight: 'I didn't expect to get taken out like that'

Rubio is a good fighter, very tough and rugged ... I'll give him 6 or 7 rounds.
