Nothin is gonna happen to Haymon but I agree if this goes down, he needs to be out. All I want is good fights. Haymon hasn't down that this year. What is his plan? If it's to keep all his too guys from fighting each other then that's bull**** no boxing fan should ever get behind.

I would love to see what the WBC pulls out of their ass to let Broner just hop, skip, jump Matthysse and Postol.

Matthysse is 3rd in line for Peterson's IBF belt so even if he vacates Broner will have to fight him. And one thing about the IBF is they actually enforce their rules unlike the other organizations.

There are no easy paths to a title at 140. If Broner wants to win a world title in this weight class he is going to have to earn it.

Broner's a little man who couldn't bring his power up to WW, so he moved down to JWW. We haven't seen him tested @ this weight yet. If he stays off of PEDs for fear of suspension, his true small, weaker self will be dominated by the naturally larger, stronger fighters of the division.

I know its cool to hate Haymon right now but Garcia vs. Broner doesn't make sense yet.

Garcia is lineal champ at 140, Broner hasn't even beaten a real 140 pounder yet.

Garcia is undefeated, Broner just got his ass kicked.

Garcia is moving up to 147 and Broner is staying at 140.


This is a pointless fight and if these two didn't have name value it should be criticized because Broner has no business fighting for the lineal title at 140. Just because its 2 popular fighters with recognizable names doesn't make it right. It should happen when one guy is champion and the other is the #1 contender or if both of them are contenders fighting for a shot at the #1 guy.

Us fans are knowledgeable enough to justify it. It's just funny listening to the people involved sound like fools as they try to piece together their argument.

I cant believe I have just heard a professional boxing trainer say that it makes no sense for his fighter to take a Championship fight.
