Out of the new guys around those weights, Algieri and Porter have the best wins, with Thurman lagging behind

    Am I missing anyone?
Manny fans talk **** about Floyd fighting Maidana, but here's the funny thing. He had a choice between a tough Argentinian fighter @ 147 in Abregu, who has only lost to Bradley, or a nobody in Algeri who beat Provodnikov @ 140. Look which one he chose. Khan is out the picture because of Haymon/Arum feud, but I would've loved to have seen that fight too!

And not one of those guys have a worse chin than Pacquiao, not one, not one at all, the only one who has been put to sleep is Pacman. Pac got dropped and his eyes became crossed from a baby jab man lol, Pac's eyes were crossed for several years into Erik Morales put them back into place in the first fight lol.

Anyone who gets put to sleep the way he has doesn't have a strong chin. That is the honest truth. its just nature once someone gets knocked out that bad they no longer have the punch resistance.

Manny might have to chase Algieri, risking taking a few to get in. Algieri is only four inches taller but has a five inch reach advantage. Pacquiao needs Algieri in ring center and should not want a track meet.
The only way Pac can beat Chris is by setting traps, something Pac doesn't have the patience for. If Pac chases Chris he lost the fight, he has to stay and stand his ground no matter how loud the crowd boos, Floyd is a master at this, he will never chase a guy he will force the runner to come at him if the runner doesn't come at him he still won't move forward. Even if there is no action for 3 rounds Floyd still won't play the runner slash back stepping punchers game he did this to Marquez, he forced Marquez to be the aggressor and JMM sucks being an aggressor, every time JMM comes forward he gets knocked down, when he fights off the back foot he dominates, Floyd knew this and this is why he forced JMM to break his style and fight out of his comfort zone.

Pac needs to forget about pleasing the crowd and bait Chris to try and take the initiative. Or else he will lose badly and get out boxed and possibly KO'd. chasing chris.

A good fight? Hell no this is a HORRIBLE fight for Pacman, its a horrible stylistic match up, he should have fought a tailormade come forward slow plodder so he could have a good fight. Chris will make Pac look bad, I don't know why Arum even made this fight against a very high risk low reward opponent.

Bushbaby was spot on about everything, its why this fight is a bettors dream, Chris has a high chance of beating Pacman due to his intangibles, he has the height, reach, size, stamina advantage and he never gets tired he can move like nobody else, the guy doesn't stop moving.

It will look similar to Pac vs. Mosley only Chris will actually throw jabs and land them unlike Mosley who just did the moon walk all night and was too scared to take chances.

Hectari you do realize Algieri has zero amateur boxing experience right. He basically started boxing in his 20s lol

If you don't realize this isn't going to be more than a sparring session for Pac, then ydksab.

He is woefully inexperienced and has never had to fit his training around participating in promotion events for a major fight like press tours, 24/7, interviews etc.

Could he win, well buster Douglass did so anything is possible. Yes he can move, but so could shane and we saw the outcome in that fight.
If anything Pacman is ripe for the taking, he is past his best, slowed down, more focused on coaching and playing for a PBA basketball team, and even suggested he wants only 4 to 6 week training with possibly no sparring and training in a make shift gym near the basketball facility of his team. Pac is distracted big time and underestimating Chris.

Roach hasn't picked up a thing or two in ages, lol your comment made me laugh hard. Roach is already calling a KO of Chris, Roach is nothing but a delusional ego maniac who enjoys the attention and fame. He has predicted knockout for every Pac fight and they never came true. Dude hasn't studied or trained Pac with strategy in ages, Roach is a celeb now even when you go to his gym you need to go through is publicist to speak to him and he ignores the fans who wait outside for autographs and eats at fancy restaurants in Beverly hills.

Chris is beaming with confidence, he feeds off the attention, Chris loves this, didnt y ou watch his interviews? the guy trains year round like B hop, he will be in Macau 4 weeks ahead of schedule, and he can't wait to film 24/7 and do the press tour.

Chris said he will train during the press tour just light work that helps him maintain his world class stamina, that is one of his strong points he has stamina for days and eats clean like B hop.

Also stylistically he is a nightmare for Manny, don't you agree? This Chris Algieri can box, he sparred Maidana and Rios for a few of their fights and they said he is a nuisance to spar because he is hard to hit and can hit and move. Pacman is not going to look good here, when has he ever looked good against a mover/runner? did he look good when he foguht running man version of Mosley? that was one of Pacs most boring fights, he was chasing Mosley all night and cramped up and Mosley got blister from moving so much.

Ruslan is a better pressure fighter than Pac, and Chris beat him with one eye shot.

That Ruslan fight boosted Chris confidence through the roof, now he is going to be so dangerous, he tasted the punch of a harder hitter and more ferocious fighter than the current Pac and Pac's punches will be like eating candy compared to ruslans.

intangibles come into play when you have tangibles that make the fight close. His lack of tangibles-experience, experience at ww and quality competition, coupled with the fact Manny's trainer just go to watch him over 12 rds in a real fight against someone slower, less talented, and with less power than manny mitigates whatever "intangible" argument you are pretending is valid.

sparring is not a real fight. it has no relevance.

Also stylistically he is a nightmare for Manny, don't you agree? no.

did he look good when he fought running man version of Mosley? no, but he won almost via shutout. Not looking good and not winning are 2 different things.

If you are so sure-lets bet all our points or the loser doesn't come back to NSB for a whole year.

everytime you go on these rants I ask you to back it up and you never do. that tells all of us what your real agenda is behind this stuff Hec.
