Algieri is only four inches taller but has a five inch reach advantage. Pacquiao needs Algieri in ring center and should not want a track meet.
I definitely don't see Pacquiao coming out of this looking good. He's at the end of his career, he doesn't want to chase long boxers who move a lot.

Pac will do whatever is necessary to win. I haven't seen him diminish in this capacity whatsoever.

There is a reason algieiri opened as a 14-1 underdog. He has done nothing in his career that suggests he will be a difficult opponent for Manny. Manny's trainer just got to see him fight for 12 rounds. I'm sure he picked up a thing or 2.

He is woefully inexperienced and has never had to fit his training around participating in promotion events for a major fight like press tours, 24/7, interviews etc.

Could he win, well buster Douglass did so anything is possible. Yes he can move, but so could shane and we saw the outcome in that fight.

He'll do what's necessary to win, but not what's necessary to look good. He can win all 12 rounds and look bad in the process. Like the Mosley fight or the first Bradley fight (not implying Pac won all 12 rounds against Bradley).

If Pac is winning every round against a guy who won't stand and fight, Pacquiao isn't going to bother trying to hunt down and finish him.

he does hit harder than people believe, or atleast has the potential for it, too bad he's a sissy who only looks to throw arm punches 90% of the time so he can keep on the move, what a terrible style

            well, atleast it aint clinching

You know what Pac has to say about that? Absolutely nothing! lol

Pac hasn't been in the news almost all year outside of his Bradley fight. He's been busy coaching a basketball team I heard. I honestly believe he doesn't pay jack attention to anything boxing related news in his world over there.
He has so many other obligations and people bothering him, I think boxing comes to a complete stop for him after the fights.
At this point, you could only hope he trains well because boxing is clearly at the back of his top 5 things he does yearly, if it even makes the top 5, lol. Pac has too much going on over there.
At this point, I can see him losing a decision to a game Algieri if Pac isn't at the top of his own game because anyone and everyone who faces Pac brings their A game while Pac just doesn't have the hunger/desire/youth to keep at it much longer.

Algieri is never going to see that left hand coming and his reaction is going to be gif-worthy.

Who was a better opponent for Manny?

Floyd won't fight him & Maidana is fighting Floyd
                    Marquez 5? Really?
Out of the new guys around those weights, Algieri and Porter have the best wins, with Thurman lagging behind

                    Am I missing anyone?
