There is no pretend, Roach is the same guy who couldn't figure out Marquez, so that is not a factor, Roach had 4 fights to figure out JMM. So just because he cornered Ruslan against Algieri that experience means jack, thats like saying Roach will have an advantage and help Pacquiao beat Mayweather because he had worked the corner for Oscar when he fought Floyd. Would you say the same that Pac should be favored over Floyd because Roach worked the corner?

Roach is not a genius strategist.

Floyd and JMM are HOF boxers and 2 of the 4 or 5 most talented pure boxers of their generation. that is why Manny struggled against JMM and why I think he would against Floyd. Algieiri is not in their class. Any difficulty Manny might have is mitigated by the fact Roach saw him 1st hand in the last fight. Added to that, algieiri has 20 pro fights and no amater fights. The likelihood that he will fight differently is miniscule. Floyd and JMM have the ability to fight in different ways.

Yes it did. He still may. But TROUBLE and losing is 2 different things. I also, as EVol will confirm, have not said that since he showed improvement in that area.

You are trying to make algieiri out to be a great boxer. He isn't. He may do things that great boxers have done, but that doesn't make him great.
