Manny's got more boxing knowledge in one chest hair than Algieri does in his whole brain. I'll catch the replay but I'm sure I'll be seeing endless gifs replaying the hilarious KO immediately after.

at least the kid will get paid and im gonna get to throw a generic fight party

you almost kinda wish PAC gets old overnight or ****y and this fight becomes interesting

    • It'll be pacquaio margarito all over again. Minus the ambition and heart displayed by margs.

      Pac ends it early.

you said Pac had the choice of a tough Argentinian fighter at 147 who LOST to Bradley, yet you call Algeiri a nobody who just BEAT Ruslan Provodnikov who wasa the next opponent for Pac and most feared man at 147 who beat Bradley up worse than anyone and Bradley had easy work with Abregu.

So Algieri who has a title and beat one of the best most feared pressure fighters at 140 is a NOBODY yet Abregu is somebody even though he lost to Bradley and has no title at 147? yeah okay.

Good logic there. Seems like you are grasping at straws.

As I recall there was an article on here about Abregu possibly being the next opponent of Pac and he had some haters on there.

Righteous do you realize Nate Campbell had no amateur experience right he slapped boxed in a super market and decided to turn pro at age of 28.

Also you do know Manny Pacquiao had no amateur background right he turned pro at 16.

Also you do know Sergio Martinez had no real amateur background and turned pro at 21?

I heard Julio Cesar Chavez never had an amateur background, did Canelo have one? Didn't they turn pro in their teens and learn on the job?

Rocky Marciano had no real amateur background either, all these guys listed above had no real amateur background meaning zero am fights or under 20 fights in the ams before they turned pro.

So again what is your point?

Both Abregu and Algeri are nobodies, and many people thought Provodnikov won that fight. I did embarass myself because I meant to quote Bob Arum saying how tough Abregu is when he was trying to sell the bout. I've never seen him fight. However, the choice of Algeri, in my opinion is because Algeri is light in the azz, and has much less experience. Provodnikov beat Bradley up, but he didn't get the win, and he was busted up too. He (Provodnikov) looked real clean after the Algeri fight.

Then if Pac's chin is so soft (and it's not/he got caught by a guy on steroids), then why hasn't Floyd grown a set of ballz any line up manny to knock him out??????

Why are Pacs balls always in your mouth?

              • If Algieri wins I'll be happy for him, but why is Pacquiao fighting this guy??? He should be chasing Marquez. I'm just waiting for Pacquiao to beat Algeri and Marquez and hoping by then Floyd finally decides he wants to fight the best guy out there.

                • This is a dumb fight for Pac. He'll be the favorite, but I won't be surprised at all to see him lose a decision. Why fight a guy with so many physical advantages with a style that could be tricky for anyone? There is virtually no upside whatsoever to taking this fight. I like Algieri though, so good for him for getting the opportunity.

What exactly do you see similar about Margarito and Algieri??? Those two couldn't be more different in my eyes. As far as heart and guts go, I think most people agree that Algieri showed plenty in coming back against Provo.
