This is why I hate these promoters and their shady a$$ contracts - Goosen has already made his $ off Ward - send him a release and be done with it! Goosen will lose in the end, Karma hates greed and Ward needs to start his own outfit.Comment

This case will be thrown out of court. Goosen isn't going to get anything out of Ward. This case is just used to abuse Ward and courts look down on that. Goosen will probably have to pay off Ward's lawyer fees as well. I bet Goosen doesn't go through with the lawsuit and he and his lawyer drop the lawsuit.Comment

I think this is a win win situation for Andre Ward. He's finally going to get his opportunity to void his contract with Dan Goosen of Goosen Tutor Promotions. Unless they can reach an out of court settlement which they probably will because in a litigation it opens up all kinds of questioning; Including but not limited to depositions and discovery which often contains full disclosure of legal and financial documents. Therefore, If a court does decide to hear this case they just may rule in Ward's favor that the contract is non-binding.Comment

Goossen gave Ward all the advantages possible in boxing in the super 6. Goosen has won every lawsuit filed by Ward. So is safe to assume that this is Ward just throwing a tantrum to get off of his contract and he got advised wrongfully and he will get owned again!
I hope I'm wrong, but it seems Ward is doing it wrong and will lose. Plus his prime will be wasted.Comment

Ward better stretch the paycheck he's about to get for his next fight as long as possible...seems like Goosen is going to sit him down for another long layoff..in my opinion if Andre has to take another year off due to litigation he might as well call it a career. Too old to be sitting out so long.Comment
