I still have Ward ranked higher but the longer he stays out of the ring the more he is going to drop. Both fighters are not as active as top fighters should be though.

Rigo is the best fighter in terms of pure technical skill on the planet but if you are going to place him above Ward you must look at their accomplishments. Sure Andre Ward isn't active but Rigo's best win came from a year ago and didn't do much since. Sure you can drag Ward's name through the mud but if one is clinching so much on Rigo's past win than Ward fans can clinch harder on his past WINS. Wins > Win when they are against legit opposition. One can claim Rigo doesn't get bigger names because promoter issues, ducks, etc.. but a similar case can be made on behalf of Ward.

Until Rigo lands big names and whoops them in a dominating fashion(i'm sure he is capable of such feat), Ward will be ahead of him. Sure he is inactive but that doesn't lessen his accomplishments.

There needs to be a time frame...

            Let's set a time frame...
I think most people accept the 1 year cutoff. He fought in November and is supposedly in the works to fight Kessler in October/November of this year.

And this was no robbery.
              114-114 against C level Maidana.

This is the 3rd different scoring of the fight you have posted. You had maidana winning on fight night and up to the day before the rematch was signed.

when it was signed, you said Floyd won clearly and a rematch wasn't required.

Now you are saying its a draw.

Can you please make up your mind.

It's not just how long he's gone without fighting. It's how long he's gone since beating anyone that was worth being ranked so high p4p.

It's been nearly 3 years since he beat Carl Froch. 3 years.

H2H rigo is better than ward. H2H floyd is better than ward. Is rigo better than floyd? We dont know yet. We are yet to see rigo against other styles. How about a hatton or maidana style at 122? Floyd is more proven when it comes to style, but well see.
