I think Donaire would have beaten everyone at 122, except Rigondeaux. It took a special fighter and a difficult style matchup to beat him, people should not forget that. It seems the Rigo loss affected him mentally, but I'd favor a pre-Rigo Donaire over anyone at 122. At 126, I don't know.
Guillermo Rigondeaux deserves to be higher than Andre Ward P4P

Darchinyan did fight well and of course had the right gameplan, but Donaire was shook the whole damn fight until he snapped out of it for the KO. He looked so hesitant.
He didn't look that much better in his last fight. He needed the cut to wake him up.Comment

I'd still pick him to beat someone like LSC or Mares, those guys have more going for them but I have a feeling they'll run into something, just a hunch.Comment

He doesn't use deliberate head butts like Ward, he doesn't hit while holding or hit off the break and he KOs most of his opponents.
Wlad did clinch too much in the Povetkin fight, but he generally doesn't clamp his opponents arm like Ward.Comment

Because:
1) he needs home referees to permit him to break the rules to win
2) he's a hypocrite, a wolf in sheeps' clothing, who calls himself the Son of God
3) he's a prima donna who demands everything his own way
4) he's smugly arrogant, and extremely proud & selfish.Comment

Lots of religious people refer to themselves as sons of god.Because:

regardless of who has the better resume, rigondeaux is clearly a much more skilled fighter than ward is. p4p isnt just your resume only.I don't disapprove of wlad's clinching, I disapprove of wlad. I don't kill him for holding because I have turned the channel by the time he really gets his grab on.
As for ward, I don't celebrate anything he does. I just come into your, sllimshandy, battling nelson and the rest of his detractors hate threads to make sure there is some balance and honesty regarding his career and accomplishments.
The answer is no, rigo's 14 fight career including a win over Donaire does not place him above Ward.Comment
