Hopkins will beat him like he beat Felix Trinidad. He will neutralize Kovelev's power early on and utiitize his skills and boxing knowledge to make Kovalev look like an amateur guy who is not worthy of being Hopkins sparring partner, let alone his opponent in a championship fight. By the 10th or 11th round, John David Jackson will be ready to stop the fight.
Who will you be rooting for: Hopkins or Kovalev?

I really don't know, I like both guys. I want BHop to make history, but I don't want Kovalev to lose and be called a hypejob etc.Comment

I just hope Kovalev will continue to box even if he loses on Saturday, especially if he loses because of something shady.Comment

Course he will. He's got a newborn son and family to provide for and even if he loses to Hopkins there's almost no-one I'd pick over him once Bhops retires - he's still got potentially 5 or 6 years at or close to the top of his game.
Whatever some might say he certainly won't become a 'bum' overnight in the event of a loss to Hopkins - though knowing NSB there'll be plenty saying just that.Comment

**** this is hard! I admire B. Hop cause he's a legend. Dude has fought everyone they put in front of him and he's 49 going on 50. It would be awesome to watch him make history live. On the other hand, I've liked KOvalev since he first started fighting on NBC Sports. I always thought he'd make it to the top of the LHW division. If anything, there wouldn't be a better person to lose to or 'hand the torch' down to than KOvalev!
At this point I honestly just want to see a clean, fair fight. I hope both fighters keep it that way.Comment
