For the sake of boxing I would rather see the hardest puncher out there win than the 50 year old man.
But I know it will be a competitive fight. Hopkins has a style that depends very little on youth and athleticism, more on just experience and a willingness to bore people.
Nothing against Hopkins. He is an all-time caliber fighter. That's just the circumstances I see for this one.
Whoever wins I hope they tell Stevenson to get lost it when he's ready for his big payday/retirement beating... He ducked both of them, thought he was playing everyone, and Hopkins played him.

I'm rooting for the old man and im 100% B-Hop will destroy the hype job.
People think Kovalev wins because of the age advantage HELL NO Kovalev might got above averge power but he cant box and he shown he can be dropped by bums. B-Hop taken much harder punches than Kovalev. The boy getting his ass wipped all in mfs
I will root for Kovalev. Hopkins is a great fighter and it's incredible that he is still this good at this age. He must be very rich by now. He promised his mother he would retire at age 40. At his age of almost 50 he is very vulnerable to brain damage from head blows. He needs to retire for his health. He has had more than enough glory in boxing and he needs to keep his promise to his mother and retire for his own good. If Kovalev really beats the hell out of him or knocks him out maybe Hopkins will retire. I also like Kovalev and think he is one hell of a fighter and I don't want him to suffer an embarrassing loss to Hopkins. If Hopkins wins then more power to this old man and his 20 years as a great fighter.
