Ive watched this fight several times...the most rounds I can "give" Maidana is 5 rounds and that's being generous giving him the swing rounds

After round 5, Maidana was getting outclassed, got hurt to the body a few times, and got hit by some good combos and counters. After round 5 you could he only won like 1-2 rounds. Even then he would only be given a draw or a 1 point win giving him all 5 first rounds and the ones he actually won after that.

anything between 9-3 to 7-5 Mayweather's way is realistic

anything more than a draw, and you are really trying to give away a fight that Maidana doesn't deserve.

Sure he gave it a great effort, but rounds are not scored by the amount of screams a fighter receives for a few shots, missed punches, and intentional fouls.
Maidana could have gotten a draw or win by 7-5 score and nobody except some Floyd fans would be complaining.

You say that you need to be a hater but even with those judges, at least 1 or more judges had given Maidana rounds 8, 11 and 12. So are they haters?

No because if I'm favouring one style and am consistent in favoring that style, my scorecard is reasonable

Yes, clearly that is exactly what he was admitting in this article.

With that said, I see 2 out of the 3 judges gave Mayweather round 3. 1 judge, same judge who scored it a draw also gave round 4 to Maidana which isn't conceivable at all, that was a clear Mayweather round.

The reason that you don't see anything wrong with that is because you are looking at it from a Floyd fans perspective. Even Showtime commentators said that the closest judge to the truth was the 114-114 score and that the other 2 judges missed the fight.

ok you wanna bring judges into this....you do know someone scored Mayweather vs Canelo a draw right? Don't act like people don't have their own eyes and know right from wrong.

Maidana could have gotten a draw or a 7-5 score but it would have been a wrong call and a win a robbery

If Maidana would have got the win, more than Mayweather fans would be complaining, people that actually follow the sport, know how to score rounds, would be upset.

Giving someone a fight and them actually deserving it are two different things. He did well enough to get a rematch, but If I were Mayweather and I lost a fight I clearly won just because people like you want to see me lose, I'd be pissed.

Mayweather didn't win rd 4. That's the rd he got cut, and he ended up trying to dance around and miss pot shots.

I'll say it again, Mayweather could have conceivably had the better first half depending on who you give round 3 to, that's the round many were split on. All the other rounds were easy to score.

Clean punching, effective aggression, ring generalship, defense. If you judge by these criteria, Not a hard fight to score. Floyd wins, not really close. A fight can be competitive and not be close on the cards.
