Some people posting in this thread need to get hit by a person wearing Grants. Just because they're called pillows doesn't mean they actually are.

Saying that Maidana only has world class power when wearing a particular brand of glove is pretty damned disrespectful. Unfamiliarity with the glove I could understand, but saying that the glove completely takes his ability to knock a person out is just heinous.

Actually the ODH comparison doesnt make sense. Floyd wanted to use 8 oz, but they were fighting at 154 limit, so 10 oz gloves was the mandatory. here, the NSAC approved the red punchers gloves for use, and mayweather said no. even though his own fighters used them that same night.

Yep just like FMJ wanted to use 8oz gloves in the Cotto fight and Cotto said no..

A lot of people saying Floyd didn't move because he couldn't a few saying the fight was a draw or a Maidaina win! So i guess that when Floyd wins this he should get the credit he deserves.

Perhaps it wasn't what he was trying to say. It just came across that way. However, one has to admit that the statement could have easily been interpreted as more than a little ambiguous to say the least. It's only matter of perception where one can choose to take it for whichever they please.
