Fight fans pay very close attention to what Mayweather is saying. In so many words, he is implying that no opponent of his would ever get a close decision victory from the Las Vegas judging as long as he is the headliner. No matter how many knockdowns, 10-8 rounds, punches landed or thrown he will still get the win as long as the fight goes the distance.
You read too much into his words. But, that should only give Maidana even more incentive to go for the knockout and claim the titles and the throne.
All you are doing is confirming that he criticises his fights, even though he wins in good fashion. That is typical Floyd. He gave himself a C for Guerrero, and a D for Cotto. He also said Cotto was his toughest fight, but then later backtracked and said Augustus was his toughest fight. And at the same time he's proud of all these wins.
I already provided 'C+' for Canelo in that he said he hasn't beaten any fighter with his A game. That he's just been beating them with his C game.
No, he gave himself a D for Guerrero.
And I don't see where you provided C+ for Canelo. This is what you said:
I didn't say he said C+ for Canelo. I said that he PROBABLY feels his performance was a C+, a
But anyway, if he could have moved more in the first fight against Maidana, he would've.

I think he said both. He definitely gave himself a C versus Guerrero, then lowered it later. Similarly, immediately after the Cotto fight, he said Cotto was his toughest fight. Then later, backtracked and said it's Augustus.
I said C+ based on how he clearly stated recently that he hasn't beaten any fighter yet with his A-game. That he's just been beating them with his C game.
That's just your guess. I think he could've totally moved more in the Maidana fight, similar to the Guerrero fight. His father mentioned that Floyd had his own gameplan, and that his father had a gameplan. And that Floyd's gameplan was basically the rope-a-dope. And his father said he wasn't really a fan of that and didn't approve. And that if Floyd was going to do that, he should have at least closed-up (shell).

Yeah, he said he went back and watched his performance and he looked like ****. I agree...that was not an impressive performance IMO.
Anyway, we'll see. Again, you think he's going to move more, I don't think he will or can.
You can't be serious. How does any rational adult get this out of what Floyd said?
Perhaps it wasn't what he was trying to say. It just came across that way. However, one has to admit that the statement could have easily been interpreted as more than a little ambiguous to say the least. It's only matter of perception where one can choose to take it for whichever they please.
A lot of people saying Floyd didn't move because he couldn't a few saying the fight was a draw or a Maidaina win! So i guess that when Floyd wins this he should get the credit he deserves.

Come on dude. I get this is NSB but your interpretation made absolutely no sense. If any other fighter makes this statement you wouldn't take it to this extreme position.
