I would take less for more of a beating.

That's because you're easily bought and have little dignity.

Salka took the money to fight Garcia, knowing he would probably lose. The sad thing is, he literally risked his life for it. Hopefully, he didn't suffer any permanent, life-threatening, career-ending damage.

I wouldn't call it criminal because he got paid and had the opportunity of a lifetime.

There are hundreds of thousands of fighters across the world that would have loved to be given that chance.

Danny was given a job to do and he did it , he went in there an dam near took that kids head off ! And im happy as hell that he knocked him the **** out , now maybe golden boy and al haymon will stop wasting everyones time with these ridiculous matches .

This is no different than when Saul Alvarez fought Josesito Lopez.

That's was poetic and you are to be commended for such beautiful worlds. But in my real world where it takes me about a year and a half to make that money. I would gladly make that money in less than ten minutes.
Pride is a sin especially if your too proud not to take that money for your kids.

Rod Salka signed a contract, he knew exactly what this was going in. Hes a grown man. No one tricked him and forced him to do anything. He knew from jump. This isn't DSG failing to make weight or some ****. There was nothing at all morally wrong about it. It was wrong in the sense that it was a crap fight that should have never happened. But boxers box. That's their jobs. This is the meaning of the sport. People make it seem like this was the most irrepressible thing that's ever happened in this sport. It wouldn't even make the list of the top 100. Move on already.
