Is what Garcia and GB did to Salka Criminal?

I mean morally criminal, not legally, obviously.

The fact is Salka had no business at all being in the ring with someone like Danny who is waaaaaay bigger than him, and also has the cushion of a two pound catch weight! Making a dude come up two divisions and have the nerve to give yourself even more weight?

Salka had no choice as a fighter. He couldn't very well turn down the biggest pay day of his life, so he was in effect exploited by GB and Garcia.

And he paid the price for this, by getting brutally knocked out as well knew he would. At two weight divisions down, he only has 3 knockouts! So his power at a weight above jr welter is going to be even significantly less than his paper fists already deliver.

Garcia & co knew Salka was a KO victim...already beat him in amateurs...setup, fake overmatched morally wrong fight indeed.

It should have been Peterson Garcia...& I think Garcia would have won that fight...instead he protected himself with Haymon fighting a nobody and now will move up to 147 actually avoiding an easy but still in their minds risky fight in Peterson. hilarious.

He got paid 125k. That is not criminal. He got iced, it happens to greater fighters. He's not the first guy to get KO'd for a lot less money.

          It definitely felt wrong.

It wouldn't have been quite so bad if the ref had stepped in before the final k/d, I mean Salka was done at that point and no one would've complained.

The final KO made me feel kinda sick, it was dangerous because he didn't belong in there.

Because the same people who tuned in to the garbage fight wanted to see a savage knockout I guess.

When I saw Salka after climbing up the ring, I thought he was too small and he had feminine frame. He had narrow shoulders and I was hoping there was some kind of power hidden beneath that small frame. Nothing, as it turned out. This was one of the worst mismatches in boxing history. It would have been more palatable if Salka was, at least, a bit physically bigger.

I didn't watch it or even DVR it. I don't want that farce of a card getting any kind of rating off me. Just now hearing what happened, and not the least bit surprised it was as obvious a mismatch in the ring as it was on paper. Hope they get terrible rating, so that they're forced to start putting on quality shows.

Who cares!! This a boxing ! The fight game ! Its not a tickling contest ! Stop blaming danny saying he made this dude come up in weight , rod salka knew he was smaller , if rod salka didnt want to fight then he didnt have to accept the fight ! Yes this was a complete mismatch i agree with that and there was no reason for this fight ! Blame al haymon and goldenboy . !

Danny was given a job to do and he did it , he went in there an dam near took that kids head off ! And im happy as hell that he knocked him the **** out , now maybe golden boy and al haymon will stop wasting everyones time with these ridiculous matches .
