What's criminal is that TV networks buy these type of fights which encourages the criminal act of matching a much smaller boxer against a bigger, stronger and higher caliber fighter!

It's morbid to watch this type of fights. It's no longer a competitive boxing match. It's a liability on live TV which the TV networks will not take any responsibility shroud a fighter loose their life or end up brain dead. Yet they continue to praise the victor!

But if it was Danny Garcia vs GGG, they would call it a massacre!

It wouldn't have been quite so bad if the ref had stepped in before the final k/d, I mean Salka was done at that point and no one would've complained.

The final KO made me feel kinda sick, it was dangerous because he didn't belong in there.
referee had no business letting that go on.

Of course he accepted the money. It was the most he ever made. You gotta remember boxer are not like other athletes, we will not back down from a challenge! Call it ego or what ever you want but that doesn't make it okay for business handlers, promoters, TV or the fans to accept it. Guys have lost their lives fighting guys their own weight land have ended up like vegetables!

Why do you think Floyd avoids high risk fights? He says it all the time! His health and his life are more important!

It's ignorant not to see or accept the facts! I don't see the average gym rat taking this type of risks.

Dude, this is boxing and he's a boxer. Why are ppl getting emotionally attached to a boxer getting beat? This was a very crapoy fight, not worth any more talk, move on.

That was not boxing. Taking was taking advantage of a smaller guy and the reason we complain so much is so that it doesn't happen again.

Yes this was a complete mismatch i agree with that and there was no reason for this fight ! Blame al haymon and goldenboy . !

Danny was given a job to do and he did it , he went in there an dam near took that kids head off ! And im happy as hell that he knocked him the **** out , now maybe golden boy and al haymon will stop wasting everyones time with these ridiculous matches .
If that was valid, under the same excuse you could pick up a bum from the street and pay him a burger to get beaten up. The bum knows what he's doing and concents. The bum got paid his burger. The bum agreed to get paid a burger in exchange for getting beat up. Its still very much fked up, wrong in any possible way and that's not at all what boxing, or any other sport for that matter is all about.
Fighting a non-ranked #77 lightweight... and even worse, some people here try to justify that.
