Peterson is a good but flawed fighter. He can't punch and he's a little chinny. And he also is a slow starter historically.

I felt that Victor Ortiz and Lucas Matthysse both overpowered Peterson and Garcia can do the same. I thought Ortiz deserved the W vs Peterson but didn't get it for some reason, despite the two KD's he scored and winning, in my eyes, 6 rounds in a 10 round fight. Matthysse just surprisingly blew right through Peterson with ease.

Anyone think Peterson has ever actually beaten any one good? I mean I felt Khan beat him razor close, I thought Ortiz beat him, Matthysse destroyed him, Bradley virtually shut him out. He got the odd win over C+ fighters like Cayo, good B fighter but old Holt, decent fighter with no wins in Jean. That's about it.

He fought well against Bradley and gave him one of his toughest fights at 140, despite losing the large majority of the rounds.

I thought he beat Khan, it was a close fight that could have gone either way no matter who you think won.

I thought he beat Ortiz, and that Ortiz is lucky it wasn't a 12 rounder.

I'm not going to pretend he's a really good fighter, he's solid at best, but he's proven he can compete with the best and sometimes beat them. I don't think Garcia is anything he hasn't seen before. Danny should be favored, and I'd pick him, but Peterson could win.

Peterson is a very good fighter....I was beyond shocked at the way Lucas dusted him off....Swift will beat him though...Lamont likes to be in the trenches giving out work....that's right where Swift needs him to be

Lamont is a stand and trade inside fighter. That means Danny won't have to look for him. Danny has the power edge and possibly more skilled. The one thing that Lamont does have, (which is a world class attribute), is stamina. If Danny doesn't beat that stamina out of him early, it could very well be a lonnnng night at the office.

And for the record, Herrera isn't an easy night of work for anyone.

Is Peterson the best inside fighter that Garcia has ever faced?
