Most people are ignorant to Hopkins situation. Hes a free agent and can do whatever he wants. He has no contract with Golden Boy or Showtime AT ALL. Hes said so himself. He does have a stake in the company, but no promotional deal. And Main Events could be paying Hopkins dor all we know as details have not been revealed yet. Just like Floys when he was with HBO. He did a fight by fight contract with them.
