would be a solid fight, feel bad for golovkin though he has so many roadblocks in the way of fighting the best options but he does what he can and it is paying off

Jacobs a nice guy but I think we all know he understands GGG would halt his career to a nasty stop which means all he's been through ends up being for nothing.

Jacobs knows he would suffer the same fate he did against pirog if he were to fight GGG.

After the Progress fight there is NO WAY Jacobs takes on GG. Ever.

            GGG should blame himself

As an unknown fighter, GGG went in and pledged allegiance to HBO. I know a lot of people give him a pass, but he's the one that has inserted the roadblocks that have stopped him from being able to fight anyone and everyone. Now he can say everyone is ducking him.

I believe he's all the way back, cancer is in full remission, why not fight Golovkin? For the sake of his progression as a fighter, he probably should take on a David Lemieux or another big puncher to test his chin to determine if he can handle it.

Why not... work on it for Stevenson's next card in the fall since Quillin will be busy (their original plan)

i think this is a good fight for jacobs...and lemieux. good scrap to weed out the weak and establish a contender at 160. and when i say good fight for jacobs, i dont mean a cherry pick where he'll look good. both guys will gun for the early KO, and if jacobs shoots his load early like he did with fletcher, it could be night-night. lucky for him that fletcher wasnt a big puncher. it's a competitive fight and that's what boxing needs. this would be a tough fight for both guys

Lemieux is returning in November... Stevenson's supposed second return date.

Makes sense for the undercard since they were targeting him vs Quillin if Hopkins/Stevenson had happened. But since Quillin will have his hands fill for the Fall....likely
