Yeah, Lucas' chin is def on the downside.. I haven't liked how he reacts to punches now as compared to 3-4 years ago.. I think the wars are catching up to him... He could end up like morales

Danny kills Matthysse in the rematch. I predicted Danny would knockout Matthysse in the first fight and it didn't happen because Lucas wasn't as aggressive as I thought he'd be, but I'd make the same prediction in a rematch.

I think it would be another good, competitive fight like the first one. I think the taller, more skilled Garcia wins again. Probably scores another KD. He'll do what it takes to win, even go to the body and stray low to slow down Matthysse. I definitely would like to see this rematch. I think Matthysse will take a different, more defensive approach this time because he has sat down on the canvas 3 times in his last two fights. People don't take that into consideration, this is a different Matthysse now, not the one that blasted through Soto, Ajose, and Peterson, this guy has tasted power now, he'll try to fight smarter, and that will benefit Garcia.

He'll be less aggressive in the rematch, it'll go 12 again.

People don't realize the psychological effect being knocked down in two consecutive fights does to a fighter who was blasting through his opponents. He's getting another taller puncher in Roberto Ortiz but looking at his resume, he is a prospect, Matthysse should beat him. Ortiz looks like he loves to eat punches and that's going to lead to a TKO vs Matthysse, unless he has amazing power where he's going to blast Matthysse out of there first, which I doubt.

yes, lucas chin is getting softer yet is danny the one who's been fighting guys with 7 and 3 KOs respectively while matthysse keeps fighting taller fighters with big punching power

That's the reason why Lucas' chin is weakening.. A lot of tough fights and tons of shots he has walked thru... Danny is relatively fresh compared to Lucas

These two together is a good fight on any day at any weight....styles mix well together....Swift beats him again but this time it will be way wider if not by stoppage

maybe, but how come danny doesn't get someone like ortiz, for example? an unknown ko puncher? maybe he does have a word in the designation of his opponents after all, and goes with the softer one

I think Danny has a good chin, and had Lucas beaten him, I think we would have seen Danny matched harder this year.. They are trying to milk this undefeated reign as long as possible and then cash out with a Floyd fight.. If Danny loses his 0, then I think his chances of facing mayweather go down the drain, hence why they aren't matching Danny with harder opponents, though Herrera in hindsight was a very tough fight
