Who Would Win In A Garcia vs Matthysse Rematch

I for one would be more sure of Matthysse winning the rematch. That's what I got from the first fight.

I picked Matthysse by KO in the first fight. Not because Matthysse is an invincible power punching iguana eating untouchable god that KO's every fighter in history from 140-154. But because I thought Garcia was too flat footed and stationary and would eventually get broken down late in the fight.

But Garcia showed me dimensions in his game that fight that I didn't know he had. I think that he does even better in the rematch now that he has already been in the ring with Lucas and has felt his best punch and wins another clear, competitive decision.

I was rewatching some highlights and Matthyse did better than I originally thought that too with one eye. In a rematch I think Matthyse takes it. I Reckon the fight took a lot outta Garcia - it really was a top performance by him and to do it again with his natural style to engage would be difficult and would require a lot of discipline.

lucas is better now i think in this matchup, i would take lucas over danny.. algeiri would beat lucas though. ruslan-lucas is interesting because lucas showed a dodgy chin. i think dannys power is overrated. he will be able to handle it in a rematch and will win imo

lucas best bet is to try to fight for dannys vacant belts once hes gone, hes in line for the WBC again.
