Every time this guy opens his mouth, he alienates the boxing community.

I think he'll be fired soon, Espinoza is too s h it ty at his job to keep it.

    Hope Showtime realises it.

when the low ratings come out, he'll be in full force on twitter talking for some reason about GGG and how hes overrated and how he hates HBO. Notice how nobody from the other side does this. they go about there buisness, they don't need to attack and try to convince there fans they're putting on the better fights.... like this guy does. one of the people ruining boxing is stephen espinoza...
        be real!
name a promoter that is not like that .

The people are so divided that they even become bandwagon fans for networks... Showtime kicked HBO's butt last your with their fight line ups, and this year HBO is ahead. If things continue this way for the rest of the year, it will be a draw of one good year to one good year.

No, he's serious, read his previous post. BigJames is living in an alternate reality where his Mayweather tinted glasses make it hard for him to see clearly.

Hopkins took less money to fight a more dangerous opponent. Stevenson ran away from the krusher and said it was because of money. These revelations make stevenson look even worse. Plus hes left without a dance partner. Only option is pascal and pascal doesnt want it.

That's what I like about Stephen, he knows how to run things and isn't biased towards any individual. He steps his foot down when needed and it shows.

                  Great work.

Either way, the point is HBO is willing to work with Haymon or GBP....
What they're not willing to do is allow constant Haymon mismatches on their premium network like the card we got last night
                    /thread
HBO saw the shady sh[B]i[Bt Richard Schaefer was doing with Haymon & Espinoza and put an end to it as far as they were concerned. Oscar is now trying to undo the damage and I'm sure we'll be seeing GBP on HBO more in the near future. I don't think Hershman would do business with Haymon if he didn't have to. To Showtime's credit they have a great card on this Saturday and a big reason why is cuz it's a mandatory.

"We were finalizing a deal for late october"

Yeah right, Hopkins believed that deal would be finalized so he walked over to HBO instead. I trust hopkins more than I trust Espinoza and if he went over to HBO hashed out an agreement in like 73 minutes to fight Kovalev he certainly felt you were never going to actually finalize shhhh...the guy was damn near begging for a contract in his post fight interview after beating Murat..you gave him what? Nothing at all...
