It's not that people shouldn't be allowed freedom of opinion, but that certain opinions contribute to a narrower than necessary definition of normativity, which leads to suffering for people like Maloney. People are thankfully allowed to be and to become who they want to be in this country, at least in a legal sense. And your assessment seems to allow for Maloney not to be judged and yet for others to be allowed to judge him. Which doesn't add up.

    The defence rests

Tough topic it's nice to see fight fans be understand. Their are many men in the game that can't come out because o the world they live in,don't be naive and don't be judgmental. I've been saying for a long time that Floyd Mayweather doesn't know how to act around women and is very confused, which also makes sense why he is so suppressed and the most skilled fighter in the world.

for a man to make a sex change operation (especially someone famous) takes tremendous guts. it may attract a tremendous amount of prejudice and abuse.

its not a matter of being ****** but being brave. he needed time to find it in him to accept who he really is regardless of what people think. i felt saddened reading what he went through and im happy he managed make the leap towards happiness, better late than never.

for whatever reason some cowardice people get uncomfortable with things they dont understand and feel a need to abuse the source. the situation doesnt makes any sense to me either but he seems like a decent enough guy so i just wish him happiness regardless how he wishes to pursue it.

I think it is gross and disgusting, but... As long as hes not harming no one or causing any physical harm to anyone else imho he can do what he wants. Its his life. As long as those disgusting things dont push that on my famy values (gay agenda in the usa).

We live in a very sick and twisted world today. Curiosity seems to be the order nowadays. He always knew he was Kellie but yet he lives 61 years of his life being Frank, deceive the boxing public to make a lot of money, strung along two ex-wives during the process and now probably about to put his kids through a life of ridicule. And some would call this a courageous or heroic act. What a selfish coward.

All been rapidly downhill since Price lost.

this was not the Maloney I thought they were talking about when I read the headline. I figured it was some no name fighter making headlines like that gay fighter from PR. In today's society it really isn't that shocking...

All these people calling him "brave" and not to ridicule him. The guy's a complete mess.

He was a little bigoted tosser when he was a man and he's just a laughing stock now.
