    /End thread.

    yep.

And Judging by the amount of haters, I'd say PAC's career has been very successful.

More success, more haters... It just works out like that.

Truth is, any guy going against Floyd or Manny won't look impressive coming in. That's just how it is.

Manny fought another HOF guy who was a stylistic nightmare for him 4 times... 4 Times! ...

PAC beat Bradley in the rematch who just beat JMM. Both Bradley and JMM ranked P4P.

    ******ity.

Given the options, PAC fought the best that was AVAILABLE to him in Top Ranks 140-147lb stable.

              Cotto ranked #2 best welterweight
              Clottey ranked #5 best welterweight
              Mosley ranked #2 best welterweight
              Bradley ranked #2 best welterweight

Lol Manny's competition has been awesome. Coming from a small division from beating ATGs Barrera, Morales and Marquez to going all the up to 150 and whopping on huge guys like Margarito and Cotto.

And Bradley x2 > All of Floyd's opponents from all weight divisions. I couldnt care less if Guerrero or Ortiz was ranked joint no.1 at the time lol.

                  As far as I'm concerned...
Guerrero, Clottey, Ortiz, Margarito, Maidana, Rios, Hatton, Mosley, Marquez, Cotto.. are all comparable in terms of level of competition.

They were all legit contenders, champs or past welter champs,

Mayweather vs Canelo was the best matchup of the bunch. Unfortunate, it had to be at a catchweight. But it was a very impressive win for Floyd.
PAC vs Cotto was also just as great, ..catchweight as well.
PAC vs Bradley is the next best impressive win.

Like I said, anyone going against Floyd or Manny look 2nd tier. OP needs to realize and respect the skill to beat the competition at this level. This is world class competition.

So you saying it's ok for fighter to move up? what if Danny gets the Floyd fight in may 2015? i mean Danny is the king at 140 so by your logic he should fight the 147 king right?
I'm fine with garcia tbh, post matthysse of course. but there are better opponents available at the moment, with Pacquiao, at the time, there wasn't.

He may not be fighting a lot of "ranked" welters but his level of competition is superb..

When guys like rios and algieri are your soft touch tune ups, you know your a damn good fighter

I will take wins over Bradley, jmm, clottey, over ranked welters like Berto, Ortiz, Alexander, ghost and the rest of the ranked welters since 09...
