If Floyd miraculously gets past Maidana again without his usual Bull**** and he chooses Danny Garcia I will make it my life agenda to become a Professional boxer, build myself a big name, and talk **** all over Garcia and Mayweather until the day I retire.

I have respect for Floyd, I had absolutely none for Danny.

Nah a quick KO is better for your health than a sustained beating.

he is fighting roberto ortiz, undefeated with 28 KOs almost 3 times more than salka and herrera combined, this is not about matthysse this is about the irresponsibility of putting and undersize fighter with no power and tools in front of a proven champion who happens to be bigger (they make salka move 2 divisions)

Have you actually seen Garcia's boxrec....you might want to check that shhh before even replying up in here one more time tonight...like seriously you might be SHOCKED at the sheer number of wins Garcia's record has over guys with 5 to 11 loses on their records..and I do mean SHOCKED!
I don't even have to check Boxrec to know all about Peterson. Isn't he the guy who held on to one of the Trinket belts by a technicality even though he got knocked out by Matthysse. Garcia should've be the IBF Title holder already.

All in good time though. I suspect that Peterson will be next anyway so there is no problem. The only problem is instant gratification fans.

Felt kinda bad for Salso, yeah it was a bad fight, but anything can happen and he coulda been seriously hurt, Athletic commissions shouldn't allow this bs... Good for him getting that pay day though. Leave the hospital and go ball out baby boy...

Has everyone forgotten that he just defeated Lucas Matthysse - the guy everyone was nut riding hard, the guy that Danny was supposed to duck yet took the fight anyway.

I'd say that victory should give him leeway for the next 4 fights without any criticism.
Shouldn't a fighter step up the competition ?

But what's one "cherry pick" in a career that is just getting started? Garcia isn't going anywhere at his young age. There will be plenty of more Matthysse-esque caliber fights with a cherry pick in between.
By the time you become a world champion, you should only be fight world class/A level opponents. Garcia should have followed the Matthysee fight with a fight with Peterson or a top contender at 147. Instead, he picked a B-class opponent (Herrerra) his team thought he would look good in beating. He was embarrassed in that fight, so his team next chose for him a lightweight who had never beaten a C-class opponent at lightweight. Garcia went from fighting the toughest fight of his career to a mediocre fighter (who gave him more than he could handle) to a joke of a fighter. What's next? A club fighter with a lifetime losing record?

Danny Garcia has 29 wins...16 of which are against guys with 5 or more loses on their records...just to answer the boxrec you said you didn't need to see. One cherry pick in the process? The kid fought the world ender Cristian Favela for the love of god! With his whopping record of 28-14.

Floyd wins a close fight and acts like a man and gives Maidana an immediate rematch. Garcia does the opposite against Herrera and doesn't give him an immediate rematch. I have some respect for Floyd, I have no respect for Garcia.
