He fought Mosley and Judah resently with handspeed how did that work? He fought Canelo who has power, He fought Cotto who has power, He fought Corrales who had power.. I'm pretty sure Floyd Garcia is going to happen. It's a credible opponent for Floyd, since Danny is technically undefeated. So it's a sellable fight. And it also meets the criteria of not being too difficult at this point in Floyd's career, as Garcia's style should be easy for Floyd to defeat. Danny is quite flat footed and can't really outbox a boxer, as per shown by Herrara.

Considering that Floyd is closing in on 40, and is moving far far less than ever, someone like Danny Garcia is pretty much the most ideal opponent there is.

IMO, Floyd and Pacquiao are becoming irrelevant from here on out. Their days of fighting the absolute best are gone now. Not that I blame them at all, they're old now, and cannot do what they did earlier in their career.

I truly think that Danny Garcia is one of the most likeable boxers right now. He seems humble, with a decent head on his shoulders, gives it all he's got in the ring and for a minute it seemed as he would fight anybody. But I think he forgot that he was beaten by Mauricio Herrera and handed a gift decision. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but Floyd is leagues above Herrera, in terms of skill, speed, boxing IQ and everything else. Garcia clearly struggled against Herrera and didn't adjust much, if at all to the style he brought to the table. Herrera’s style was just plain ugly and frustrating, but Danny just couldn’t figure it out. And no disrespect to Garcia, I like the guy and all but I think Floyd will EASILY outbox him. Garcia’s style is a little better suited for come-forward sluggers and brawlers. For example I think a DSG vs. Ruslan match-up would be awesome, and I truly believe that DSG would do better against this type of fighter. Anyway that’s just my humble opinion on the matter………Oh and some of you posters on here got a little off topic with your nonsense, as usual. The article was clearly talking about DSG's take on beating Mayweather.
