Danny needs to fight Peterson if they both win this Saturday. But, I think he knows style wise, that would be the toughest fight of his career. Then, the winner of the 2 rematches Matthysse. That winner should face Floyd in his last fight next year. It makes sense to me. The undisputed Jr Welterweight Champion of the World vs the p4p king in his farewell fight. It would be competitive and do well on ppv.

Of all that talk, Manny has fought 2 fighters only (Clottey and Morales) who have been coming off losses when Manny himself wasnt coming off a loss, since 2006 (in the past 8 years).Erik Morales was coming off a loss and he still beat Pac
Clottey was coming off a loss
Margarito was coming of being TKO'd by Mosley and a win over some taxi driver in Mexico.
Brandon the gargabe Rios was coming off a loss.
Mosley was coming off a loss and a draw against freakin Sergio Mora
Just stop acting like Manny's opponents where in a carreer high when Pac defeated them.
Manny has literally done that as many times as Floyd has been in trouble with the law for beating up women in the same time period.Comment

Danny Garcia strategies for beating Floyd:
"Umm, hide a gun in my trunks and when the bell rings, cap his ass" ROFL
Haven't we seen Floyd dominate the same style for God knows how long now?
Fight somebody with speed like Pac or Khan (who also brings reach & a great jab -- fun fact, Floyd has never fought at an arm length disadvantage)
... or somebody with devastating punching power like Keith Thurman or Golovkin at 154 (both of whom can also box & aren't just sluggers)
Floyd-Garcia is the same old **** reheated and should be called out as such. No interest in seeing this fight whatsoever. If we're only gonna be blessed with Floyd's presence for 2 (maybe 3) more fights, I want the most interesting stylistic matchups available.Comment

So Mayweather v Garcia is now a cherrypick? Who should he fight, Khan?Comment

A shot-to-smithereens Methuselah version of Morales made Danny look like an absolute prick at times and Herrera gave him a boxing lesson.
LMAO @ Danny talking about which tactics to use to beat Floyd.Comment

So now Khan is good stylistic match up? Speed and no defense and a suspect chin is a good match up for the most accurate puncher in history and a classic counterpuncher. Get real!!!Danny Garcia strategies for beating Floyd:

He fought Mosley and Judah resently with handspeed how did that work? He fought Canelo who has power, He fought Cotto who has power, He fought Corrales who had power.. You're reaching. If you don't like Floyd, don't like him, say he cherrypicks, but he's beat every style of fighter there is. Now people want him to fight middleweights as your only hope.Comment

Guy fighting can, meanwhile advises us how he beats Floydie. Maybe the better answer would've been "I'm concentrating on my current fight".Comment

No of course it's not a cherry pick, it's just not ****ing interesting.
Khan would be more interesting, so would Thurman, Pac, Golovkin at 154 (or 155 -- Floyd could make history, potentially adding the Middleweight title to his list of accolades). See my post above.
Even Bradley (while coming off a loss) would be far more interesting. So would the winner of Canelo-Kirkland
What the hell does Garcia bring to a Floyd fight that Floyd hasn't dealt with in a long time. Also incidentally, wtf has Garcia done lately? Wasn't that the knock on Khan's candidacy for becoming Floyd's May 2014 opponent?: "well he did beat Maidana and he does have a better résumé than Maidana, but what has he done recently?"
How come we can't ask the same question about Garcia: going life and death with Herrera in what was supposed to be an appearance fight, where he'd return to his ancestral homeland and look sensational and gin up the Puerto Rican fanbase. Oops, epic fail
And he's followed that up with Salka??? Rod Salka: the gatekeeper to Floyd
