    Ali fought the best?

There has been a lot of Floyd bashers out there that claims that Floyd isn't the best because he dodged a lot of prime fighters (I'm 1 of them) and they always say a guy like Ali fought the best but, Ali fought the best because the best brought the best money if Ali could have fought weaker opponents for 5-10 mil a fight he might not have ever fought foreman, Frazier ect. So when u see Floyd getting $30 mil+ for whoever he fights how can u blame him.

Ali did fight the best. But if you look at his resume he fought a ton of bums as well. He went on a fighting bums tour more than once.

Manny would have brought in more money than anyone Floyd's faced before.

That was a long time ago bro. Even if it was today Ali wouldve still done the great things hes done because he is who he is. Its timeless. Whos floyds frazer? Whos floyds george? Nobody. Ali was hated but at the same time respected, floyd is being mock anywhere in the world.

I am not the biggest Ali fan because of the brutal trash talk he directed towards Frazier, but you cannot dispute that he wanted to prove he was the best fighter in the world. He fought every single prominent fighter in his division, and when he fought Foreman you can tell he wanted to make a point based on the way he finished the most intimidating heavyweight of that era. Many thought that based on how the Frazier vs Foreman fight went, Ali would get beat even worst, but he didn't duck or dodge he confronted Foreman immediately, and finished him. That's what legends are made of, and you honestly can't compare Floyd to Ali.

It would be nice if some folks here learned the meaning of the word "bum"!
A "bum" is someone who puts forward an effort beneath their skills. It has NOTHING to do with a persons skill level it is a definition of "poor effort"!!!

When Ali was ruling heavyweight boxing and was the most recognized face in the entire world you had to ...."beat the best, to be the best"!

That's when the fan based wasn't fooled by multi-organizational belts and cherry picking opponents and readjusting weight classes!

The fans back then knew what talent and effort meant. Today their more involved with the individuals in the game and care less about the health of the sport! There's only a few fighters willing to take on all comers in their respected classes, most others challenge smaller fighters or actually recruit them up into their class then give them a title shot with as few as 3 fights in the division! (cherrypicking champs)
Mayweather can't carry Ali's gym bag.....no comparisons there...

              Ray.

Why do you only refer to these weight classes with Floyd? Does it make sense to do so in your head?

Also, as previously established he had beat the #1 ranked fighter at 147.

You cant say what Ali would have done in Floyds position in modern day boxing.
All we have is what Ali did do, and what Floyd is doing.
For him to call himself TBE is a joke.
Floyds a great fighter, but its all about money for him, not greatness.
