U don't think Ali was all about the money? If it wasn't why do u think he disrespected Frazier like he did hyping up the fight, he's from an era where at a point n time your purse was based on live gate sales and I'm not saying Floyd is TBE I don't really like him that much but I wouldn't rule out the fact that Ali might have wanted to fight the top guys because he was making record pay days. And you're right Floyd would've made the most ever fighting PAC man so he definitely strategizes but they all do that's why they have managers

So when u see Floyd getting $30 mil+ for whoever he fights how can u blame him.
Ali fought everyone that was in his prime... He fought Ken Norton 3 times... Ken Norton had that philly shell style & was always in great shape, tough opponent to beat... not to mention George Foreman in his prime, he was the Mike Tyson of that era.

Yes he did, He beat baldomir and shane, that how he attained the lineal title. Yes, ring had manny ranked #1 at the time Floyd beat shane but almost all other rankings had shane #1.

He said Floyd never fought a #1 welterweight...and clearly he did..twice! He beat Judah, the previous #1 and everyone claimed he was ducking Baldomir. He then fight Baldomir and then of course he now claimed to to be a tin can. When he came back he fought the consensus #1 ranked welterweight in Mosley. Hate Floyd as much as you want, but the guy fights the top guy in the division the majority of the time.

Pac was #2 at the time, but he was what.. 3 divisions below what Floyd was when he retired? Your point makes no sense. You can't put all the blame on Floyd for the fight not happening, there is blame on both sides.
