You know, I thought about letting this go because I noticed you didn't know what you were talking about, I was going to let you have the last word, but not because you were right.

Right, firstly, I didn't say Thurman was a bigger name than Karass at the time, I said Karass was also a 'nobody'. So pulling out of a fight against a nobody, to fight another nobody is a bit weird, no?

But all of that isn't relevant because the main reason Maidana pulled out of the fight was because Thurman was too big.

    Are you keeping up?

So why then did Maidana go on to fight somebody bigger than Thurman if size was the issue?

Please you absolute fanboy, please respond accordingly.

Look at some of these people in this thread... They are quick to call someone else a duck but people are seriously ducking Thurman and all of a sudden they are trying to find ways around it. Only when it supports their arguments I see. Porter ducked Thurman, Maidana ducked Thurman, Robert Guerrero ducked Thurman. Alexander seems like he wants to fight him but that is all talk at the moment. Every time Thurman name is brought up, they are talking about "not enough money". That is how you know they are ducking this man because they see him as a HUGE risk.

Then why didn't he just fight Thurman as a tuneup? According to these haters, Thurman is a "hypejob" and a "nobody" so Maidana shouldn't have had anything to worry about.

Let them think how they want to think, Thurman is just the new hope for people who like the 'rock em' sock em' style of boxing.

King Canelo, how new are you to boxing? Don't duck the question like Maidana ducked Thurman. 8-9 months?

Did Thurman pull out a fight with Alexander and claim he was too big?

Nope, he has said numerous times he would like to fight Alexander.

Then why has he been so quiet over the last month, Alexander said he'd fight him yet you'd think Thurman would jump on it and say ''let's get it on'' yet he's facing yet another no-name.

And I've been a casual for five years but followed boxing more seriously for the last 2 years.

Thurman is bigger then Karass lol you do know we not talking about height here right? Bigger in punching power and bigger in body strength, just over bigger in physcial strength then karass.

and even though you say Karass is a nobody his TV exposure and resume says otherwise.

But I say his the bigger name but you cant comprehend that so I'll put it in your terms, He is the bigger NOBODY out of the two WHY? cause who has thurman fought at the time? what was his biggest TV exposure? unimas? cause showtime exposure came in the Orlando lora fight and that fight hasnt took place yet when Maidana fought Karass lol, meawhile karass been on showtime, HBO PPV, and numerous unimas, solo boxeo, espn bouts before he fought Madiana.

Look, no one's truly saying Thurman is a bum (yes I may have said that but only jokingly to stir up the Thurman fans), he's a good fighter.

Let me just keep it simple for you, when a fighter is looking for a tune up after his career worst performance, you don't fight a high risk low reward performance, you fight a Karass type, someone who is durable, beatable but will test you.
