And Maidana was also a nobody, you're talking like he's some superstar he gets to cherry-pick his opponents. Soto Karass was also a nobody when Maidana fought him. His wins over Aydin and Berto generated some buzz around him after that.

He ducked Thurman, it's plain and simple. Only a delusional fanboy would suggest otherwise.
Oh shut up you ******, Maidana didn't duck that hype job. Maidana was coming off his career worst performance against Alexander and was looking for a tune up for moving up to welterweight where he had never fought before. Thurman was a no name knockout artist who had campaigned at 154, so tell me, why would someone looking for a tune up when moving to a new division look to fight a no name high risk low reward opponent? Thurmantards love living off that supposed ''duck''.

Im not writing thurman off just saying he hasnt fought nobody cause he has dont know how to walk before he crawls and thats his own fault. He wanted to call out Paulie like 6 fights ago and mayweather lol but he doesnt want to earn his way their. Its absolutely no one faults why he been fighting subpar competition but his own.
The difference is everyone wants to fight Canelo because he brings big money to the table.

Berto, Lopez, Collazo aren't a step up in competition. They are C level fighters. Guerrero is terrified of Thurman, Khan has a Floyd fight around the corner so he won't take such a risky fight, Broner is 140 and won't fight THurman.

Fighters have openly ducked Thurman, this is a fact. It's not happening behind closed doors, they are openly turning him down.

Al Haymon is not putting Thurman up against his other fighters. He is high-risk low-reward at the moment, he really needs to chase a mandatory position if he wants to force something.

I don't see why the hate, Ortiz is a rugged tough guy whos gone the distance with Prescott, Margacheato, Jones and had a good scrap with Cayo, we might see Thurman go the 12 or 10rds and see how well his conditioning is and if Ortiz actually wants to make the best of it and knows he wont get gifted like he did against Prescott he may try and take Thurman into deep waters with grit

                Oh god, you're back...

He fought Alexander at welterweight bro, but you're new to boxing so I don't expect you to know that. Do some research before posting BS, yeah?

If Thurman is so bad, then surely he's a 'tune up'? Even if Thurman was coming down from heavyweight, they were gonna fight at 147, the same weight, so there's no excuse, fanboy.

                Maidana ducked Thurman.

Name one fighter on level in the game to Thurman that ducked him realistically? you cant call fighters who have bigger names to fry a duck like guerrero or maidana cause you just gav the same excuse for khan not to fight him lol.

So who has ducked him realistically?

Ok, whatever you say, the fact is Madiana was looking for a tune up coming off his worst performance and Thurman is not a tune up type fighter, but yeah keep living off that 'duck' I suppose it's more significant than anything Thurbum has ever done in boxing.

lol bro, Maidana was a nobody when he ducked Thurman, he still isn't a 'somebody' tbh, just a tough top 10 guy at welterweight.

All the names I mentioned PUBLICLY ducked Thurman, they have said they don't want to fight him.

Khan hasn't said he wouldn't fight Thurman, there hasn't been much talk of the fight anyway.
