Thing for me is that Kessler has never been stopped. I don't think he's even been hurt to the point where he looked ready to go. He's 6'1 and strong at SMW, I would be very impressed if Golovkin stopped him.

Kessler is for sure past his prime with plenty of wars and numerous injuries, I don't think he sees the final bell with Golovkin, but he'll give Gennady his toughest pro fight yet. Kessler right now is still tougher than anyone currently at MW that Golovkin could fight. As for Martin Murray, I see some people are still drinking the cool-aid on this guy. Murray will forever be best known for losing tough fights with an injured Sergio and being gifted a draw with Sturm.
      Sturm beat Murray, IMO

But there is no chance in hell Murray lost to Martienz. Officially- yes. But Murray won that fight, without a doubt. Clear robbery

He should of been the lineal champ, but as others have said, he was very underwhelming last time out

I'm not sure how anyone can claim themselves a boxing fan when they believe such things. Andre ward openly admitted kessler was the best be faced. In a tough divisions like 168, that says a lot.
I am a boxing fan and ok garbage is a bit harsh for a pro boxer so he is just not very good.

2-3 record outside of Denmark and I don't think he beat Froch in Denmark. And those 3 losses were his big fights.

Lot of you think he's good and that's cool. A few fighters I think are good are hated on but oh well. Kessler isn't for me. I see him as extremely overrated.

The draw was actually a robbery : ). I think kessler has more in the tank than people think. I think he was in a few consecutive wars which wore him out temporarily

He was ready to go vs Allan Green. Pretty hurt vs Sartison also

              @ fetta

He is able to do against Froch (go twelve rounds and exchange) what no other fighter except ward has done. Kessler holds wins over allan green, carl Froch, librido andrade, brian magee, and Anthony mundine. 2-3 is not bad considering the divisions "best" won't even fight out of U.S.A. at all.

Who... Calzaghe, Froch and Ward? 2 ofthose guys are HOF bound, the other is destined to be on judge judy. You being harsh on him for losing to them?

And it's not like they walked through him like it was nothing.

                  GTFO of here fetta cheese

If anything, kessler is an under the radar underrated by most super middleweight. His opponents- even the greats, speak very highly of him.

I don't like to give anyone red K, but that post definitely deserves it.
