It is probably unfair, but many, including myself raised concerns before the fight took place. All I'm saying is, the version of Dawson that fought Ward would in my opinion also been spanked by both Froch and Groves.

    But obviously, that's just speculation.

Again, for the 4th time, who's James DeGale's best win because the James DeGale win is clearly holding so much weight in your book.

I can tell you who Grachev's two best wins are and I can tell you who George's best win is.

      Who's DeGales?
I didn't even say it was a good win I just thought it was funny that you named him as an opponent that could help put Dawson in the hall of fame with 12 losses and he was suddenly a cripple when Groves fought him, even though he was coming off a couple of good performances.

Not saying it was the same version of Johnson, but Johnson wasn't really great in 2009 either.

I guess James Degale's best wins are Wilczewski, Dyah Davis and that guy he fought last time from Ward's gym. Still, just using the eye test, Degale is miles better than Rodriguez as well.

that opinion is fine-so long as you give Ward credit for what he did and don't mitigate that credit with this opinion.

Ward is number 1. He beat Froch like 3 years ago or whatever. He's losing at everything else. Wake me up when the guy has a fight

I give credit to Ward for facing a guy who was champion in a weightclass above, and who was a decent champion in that weight class. But he hadn't fought at SMW for 7-8 years by the time he fought Ward and in my opinion there's a reason for that.

If Ward had beaten him at 175, I think it would be remembered as a much better win.

Well apparently you missed his performance against world beater Rodriguez and future hall of famer Chad Dawson.

To be fair, Johnson was pretty much a cripple coming off 3 consecutive losses by the time Groves got a hold of him. When Dawson beat him, he was a year removed from a TKO win over Montell Griffin.

Now that you've provided DeGale's best wins, I can tell you right now, not one of those guys are better than Sillakh, let alone Erdei.

So thanks for giving us "your eye test", unfortunately, eye tests don't count for resumes; only wins do and I think it's rather clear that Rodriguez' opponents have better resume's than Groves opponents despite "your eye test".

But thanks for blessing us with your eye test.

I don't care if they are better! Rodriguez didn't fight Erdei or Sillakh. What don't you get about that? Grachev BARELY sc****d past a Erdei who hadn't fought in 2 years anyway, and you're trying to build him up hinting he should have had a win over Bute too. It goes both ways.

OK kid, let's leave it here and hope Rodriguez fights Groves soon enough so we can see who's the better fighter.

Keep an eye on next years inductees into the HOF btw, but honestly, don't hold your breath.

He didn't have too, he beat the guy that did in less than 3 minutes. He also beat Don George who blew Cornelius White out in 1 round. And yes Grachev should've had a win over Bute.

So again, if we're talking about better resume's, I clearly explained how Rodriguez has beaten the better fighters with the better resumes.

I hope Rodriguez and Groves do fight; I'll be rooting for Groves.

the stark difference in your attitude toward the careers of groves and rodriguez is just ridiculous.
