All he had to do was stay out of Marquez's range and keep him in his. Marquez had no shot in that fight.
Marquez was clearly @ a disadvantage. However, Floyd absolutely embarrassed him. Floyd out landed Marquez 290-69. Nobody has came close to doing that to Marquez.

        Mayweather vs Canelo

Mayweather vs Marquez (I know there was a weight controversy but goddamn did he take Marquez to school)

Martinez vs Chavez (up to the last round, that was a major schooling)

Cotto vs Martinez (must have watched this fight like 20 times now)

        Mosley vs Margarito

        Pacquiao vs Margarito

        Canelo vs Angulo

That was a huge jump in weight , a natural 130-35lb fighting a 147lb'er. Marquez is always at a disadvantage above 135, we've seen it against Bradley, even saw it in spots against Pacquiao, where he's just too slow.

If thats your pick, I like Canelo vs Hatton, it was a masterful performance, he was clearly at a Disadvantage, however he completely emberassed him.

              Rigo over Donaire!

Doniare is a very good boxer and fighter and that's what makes this match up the best. People here put Donaire down for his performance but Rigo is a master boxer that can do what he did to any fighter. Actually the better the competition the better Rigo will look. Everyone fights down to their competitions level at times. Unless your a KO artist a great boxer needs a quality performer to showcase his skills. Rigo is a great talent, the best out there. Donaire is a top notch talent who has high skill levels.
              Ray.

Are you really suggesting that Matthew Hatton is of the same caliber of Marquez? btw, Marquez has done just fine @ WW since the Mayweather fight.

Bringing up someone so many weight devisions, it really doesn't make too much of a difference on the final outcome.

Like i said, Marquez will always be at a disadvantage, we saw it against Bradley, Pacquiao 4 he was too slow. Ironically the smallest one closest to his size, being Pacquiao, is the one he beat convinceingly.
