in the last five years, the top has to be rigondeaux - donaire. donaire was at the height of his powers, and coming off of a fighter of the year nod. nonito donaire is a hall of famer. rigondeaux freaking made hiim look like an amateur.
Donaire is a hall of famer, but froch is borderline.

It depends what is meant by best boxing performance..

In terms of action and suspense I would have to say the recent HW title fight between Chris Arreola and Bermane Stiverne was right up there.

In terms of actual boxing technical performance, I am going to regret saying this but I think that, as much as I can't stand the guy, that Floyd Mayweather's comprehensive dismantling of Saul Alvarez has to take the cake.. Unfortunately

I understand Rigo clearly beat Donaire. He was 1 step ahead of him.

But he did got caught in the (10th round?) when he got knocked down. I don't call that a fully dominant performance, when you were close to being knocked out.

He was knocked down but he wasn't close to being knocked out. That was the only thing Donaire did in the entire fight. You don't see guys of Donaire's caliber get completely embarrassed like that very often.

Madaina man handling Floyd most thought it would be 12 to 0 UD we all know Chino won 7 rounds but of course the Judges were corrupt so they had to let Floyd win
