But he did got caught in the (10th round?) when he got knocked down. I don't call that a fully dominant performance, when you were close to being knocked out.

I know what you're saying. But a TRULY dominant performance... won't leave the possibility of a knockout out there. Rigo got caught. For ex. JMM knockout of PAC. It was a close fight, but PAC was outpointing him while JMM relied more on sitting on his punches, with 2 big knockdown punches.

I'm just saying... Mayweather, for ex. would never get caught or leave himself vulnerable to a big shot. Well, a prime Floyd at least. I think current Floyd is more vulnerable now to getting hit a bit more.

I don't know how anyone thought Marquez had a shot. Not only was he fighting out of his weight class but floyd is longer AND faster than him. When a guy is longer and faster than you, then you have to put the pressure on him or he'll just potshot you all night(which is exactly what happened), but Marquez is a counter puncher who has trouble creating his own offense, against the second best defensive fighter in the world.

All he had to do was stay out of Marquez's range and keep him in his. Marquez had no shot in that fight.

Name one fighter in history that can fight that version of JMM and do pull counters from every angle with any hand. And do a thousand "where-did-he-go?" dipsey doodles?

Pernel Whitaker may outslick him but not like Floyd.

And Floyd actually got off first AND second on JMM. He didnt sit back waiting to counter while JMM led. JMM was scared to throw any punch. Floyd capitalized on every tin winy mistake he made offensively and defensively.

Please. I can name 4 Welterweights in this era alone that would have destroyed that version of Marquez. Cotto, Margarito, Mosley, Paul Williams,

It was a flash KD and he was not even shaken by it, he then proceeded to win the round.

It was total dominance, when was the last time we saw a dude that was up in everyone's top 10 p4p list and had just been named fighter of the year get totally schooled? Rigondeaux beat a Donaire at the top of his game and made him look foolish. It was a master performance like we hadn't seen in a long time.

Prime Floyd has been caught and has still dominated opposition wtf are you on about?

When did I say anything about destroying that version of JMM? I said do pull counters from all angles, and a million dipsey doodles.

Those fighters you named would do no such thing. No fighter in history would.
