Can Curtis Stevens beat Golovkin in a rematch?

Imo he can, Curtis showed that he has the speed to give GGG fits, GGG looked lost in there at times, it's funny how he's given GGG his toughest fight and he hadn't even fully grown into the middleweight division.

I think he over thought things and gave GGG too much respect, the rematch will be totally different (if GGG wants it).

I like Curtis stevens and enjoyed his fight with GGG but i don't think he could beat him. He did have the tools to give GGG fits now and then but i don't think he could do any more than he already tried.

No, what happened was he felt GGG's power and fought in survival mode, which is the main reason the fight even went as long as it did.

Second, the fight was a farce to begin with and a rematch would be a complete waste of time.

If GGG can't find a credible opponent at 160 for his next fight he should probably just move up to 168 and stay there.

Lol not even close. Curtis Stevens will remain an inconsistent b fighter his whole career. I would like to see him against some of the top euros. Macklin, strum, barker, etc

What do you mean by he hasn't fully grown into the middleweight division?

Stevens can't beat GGG. He's a good, solid fighter but not good enough to beat a fighter of GGG's pedigree. I think he may have shown some flaws that a better fighter can exploit in the future but he won't be the one to crack the Golovinci code.

for the record i dont necessarily think stevens would beat him in a rematch, im just sick of pointless spamming in every thread. stevens can do a lot better than he did and he has a punchers chance against anyone, but GGG is the much better fighter and would likely end up breaking him down for another TKO.

                  No he can not.

What happened was this he felt GGGs power and he went into survival mode. He landed nothing of any real note outside of double/treble left hook.

He got the **** beaten out of him from start to finish and was just looking to survive for as long as possible. He outlasted most guys but he was not GGGs hardest fight. Ouma did much better as did Rosado & Adamu
Hell I think Geale had more success in those three rounds than Stevens did the entire 8 or 9 he was there for.

Stevens should give Tureano Johnson his rematch.
