            He leaned straight back - with a hard punch in the face, that often leads to a knockdown hence why it's known as a cardinal sin in boxing.

              I read it was a heavy knockdown and Kovalev was lucky to get the decision. Never been able to find the video footage though

                      But he can be out worked. Remember Hopkins lost to Jermaine Taylor twice (1st fight I thought was a robbery). But it is what it is.
