Hopkins would never be dropped by the likes of a Caparello, or a Fonfara

If any boxers foot is stepped on while they get punched- they're most likely losing their balance and going down

Floyd, Manny, Ward, all would of went down in that circumstance, IMHO

Caparello landed one helluva shot. That shouldn't be discredited by an accidental step of, on the boot.

Kovalevs only KD where he doesn't have someone elses foot on his is against Boone, who obviously dropped Ward and KO'd Adonis

Whats funny to me though... is.... There is no footage of that ANYWHERE. Boxrec doesn't even list a KD in that fight.

How do we know for sure he actually got dropped by Boone? Serious question. I don't know where the reports ever came from

Max Kellerman said it shouldn't of been a KD and the reason he went down most likely was because of the foot step. You can clearly tell that he was off balance from that

IF Max says it- its gotta be true

He leaned straight back - with a hard punch in the face, that often leads to a knockdown hence why it's known as a cardinal sin in boxing.
              By looking at the 'KD'.

If he'd had both feet available to keep his balance, he would not have gone down. His arse didn't even touch the canvas, just a glove.

And he didn't lean back. Your memory is off.

You're right he didn't lean straight back. My mistake.

The rest is arguable. It was a legit KD either way.

I'm sorry but I don't think Hopkins will make it past the 5th. If he does, that's a victory in itself. I'm rooting for Hop, but Kovalev is a killer.

I think this fight will resemble Tyson-Holmes

Caparello stepped on Kovalev's foot, and he was off balance. Hardly a knockdown. He got back up and proceeded to destroy Caparello.
