    He is old.

He's not supposed to be fighting at this age, let alone beat world champions. If he loses then it will be what it is, a 50 year old losing to the best in the division. If he wins, however, the legacy is incredible.

But he can't destroy a senior citizen... It isn't a nice thing to do.

Fact is, at 49, he is old, you think he's some sort of spring chicken?

I'm a Hops fan but Kovalev will stop him, it won't be pretty and Hops will spoil his way to some rounds but when Kovalev lands and it will happen eventually, he will hurt Hopkins, possibly to the body. And then it's lights out.

He is old but it doesn't seem to have affected his style of fighting very much. Lets just hope that he doesn't keep going if Kovalev KOs him.

It really doesn't take anything away from Kovalev.

Scroll down the list of guys posters on here worship ranging from Marciano to Ali to Calzaghe (well, he was kind of old himself) and Gayweather... They all picked on old legends to get where they needed to. It's passing the torch.

He is old. What are we supposed to do, pretend Kovalev might beat a prime Hopkins in November?

He'll get credit if he wins for beating a top 3 light heavyweight. That should be good enough.

BHOP will have Kovalev confused and timid the entire fight. BHOP magically lulls another come forward puncher into fighting his fight and he dismantles him down the stretch.

I think Kovalev is the deal, and Hopkins hasn't been doing **** for years, but beating the Mu**** of the fight world.

You guys think Hopkins is going to pull a hat out of his when it's not even possible. The Murat fight showed how old and done Hopkins is.

Kovalev is going to destroy Hopkins.
You keep saying Hopins has been fighting the Mu**** of the world..who the hell has Kovalev been fighting?

I saw a lot of opening Hopkins can exploit with his lateral movement. I see the lead right landing and being the key weapon in this fight..Hopkins will have to work behind the jab early on though

The fighters who beat Murat before Hopkins. And the fighters who beat Shumenov and Cloud before Hopkins as well.
