Vic only once gave a pause with a proper hard warning but was not specific to either fighter.

But it was all right that Rios dug nis head and grinded in while Chaves initiated the clinch. Rios at times was holding too.

When Rios can't be the bully he goes into biatch mode

Referee was TOO INVOLVED, for no reason.
Warning Chavez continued and letting Rios get away with hitting on every command to break was really unfair. There is no rule against CLINCHING, Rios was getting out hustled at his own game.
If there was going be a DQ then call it a no contest cause you DQ them both.....
Ref was in over his head.

You cant clinch your way through a fight or at least you shouldnt be able to, clinching is technically illegal. That is why the ref breaks it up, you get warned and if you keep doing it you get dqued! This is not grappling this is boxing! He was starting to do what Abril did but this time the ref did his job. The fight started off good but Chaves not Rios started with the dirty tactics, Rios had no choice but to drop his head to protect his face when Chaves launged and grabbed his arms. Remember this is boxing...

            lol Rios won tho.

And to be honest, he impressed me against a tough opponent who clinched him out of his preferred gameplan.

Rios ate everything Chaves threw and was coming on at the end.

If only that was true, but it isn't. In fact, it's rarely the case.
