What happened at the end? Rios said "mother****er!!", Drakulich thought Chaves had done something illegal and he DQ'd him. Chaves was definitely dirty, and dirtier than Rios, but I didn't see for what exactly he was DQ'd.

There was points were Chaves would push his head into Rios for 5 seconds and then look at the ref as if Rios was doing something wrong. Then Chaves has the balls to claim he was giving a lesson.
I think Nevada needed to put a ref that can actually speak spanish i mean half the stuff the ref would tell Chavez he couldnt understand cause he doesnt know a word of english!

Both fighters fought dirty, Chaves more so, but nothing there to stop the fight with a DQ. What an incompetent ref.

Rios wasn't doing shit in the nine round, and was down in the scorecards, they had to stop it. Most of the clinches if you look carefully you see Rios holding with one hand and then using his head and the other to hit Chaves. You could tell from the purses that it wasn't going to be a fair fight.

You have no idea, but even if, u can not make intentional contact to an opponents eye with anything other than a punch. Thank Sonny for that!

I understand, but, I saw the video again and I see no eye gauging by Chaves. So, what in the hell was the reason for the disqualification?

I want to see a rematch with a ref like frank cappuccino or Steve smoger

I thought it was a good action fight and had Chavez slightly ahead but rios coming on.. A rematch on the manny PPv undercard in November would be ideal

Chaves was holding to prevent Rios from out working him on the inside
