speak for yourself. i thought the reach and height itself, even with some physical and skill degradation, would be too much for pac. odlh vs pac was a cherry pick gone wrong.

DLH is one of my favorite fighters of all time and I thought Manny was going to destroy him going in, I was begging for Oscar to retire after the Floyd fight. Manny was younger and more explosive, DLH wasn't going to handle the speed and punishment, I don't see how anyone saw anything different, but whatevs.

Pacquiao /Marquez 3. Everyone was expecting Manny to walk all over Marquez, I remember all the Pac fans where so excited for this fight because Manny was finally going to give Marquez a beating. After 12 rounds not only did Manny fail to "win" but part of his aura was taken from him that night.

Tyson vs buster is by far the biggest back fire but lennox\rahman wasn't such a bad cherry pick. Rahman came off the floor twice to beat corrie sanders & it would have been maskaev getting that shot but he had just got creamed by kirk Johnson so lennox was looking for an opponent. Rahman was in great shape & has always had one punch KO power. lennox showed in the rematch what he could do to Rahman but I still don't think it was a huge chery pick. Rahman was 31-2 & both his losses were fights he was winning when he got caught by a big puncher...

Roy jones vs Glen Johnson was not a cherry pick. Jones was just KOd by Tarver. He fought Glen Johnson who was a proven top ten guy. Just because Jones was favored to win doesn't make it a cherry pick. If anything that should be considered terrible matchmaking on Jones' part being that he was just KOd less than 6 months prior. No one would have complained if he took on a bum as a comeback fight. Most guys do after getting knocked out.

              Kirkland vs Ishida (7-1)
              Tyson vs Douglas (30-1)
Pavlik vs Hopkins (thought he would beat up the old man)
              Berto vs Ortiz (hilarious!)
McClelan vs Benn (paid the ultimate price!)

              Possibly Rios vs Abril

That's about it from me this morning

The most recent cherry pick and people should be completely pissed off about is Danny Garcia VS Salka.Even though, his last fight with Mauricio Herrera was a cherry pick also, and we all witnessed the never ending flaw in the politics of boxing....
