cotto didnt win more than 4 rounds and ended up with a pizza face, unlike canelos face who looked like he just had a walk in the park, and if there is any doubt for trout-canelo trout him self admitted who the faster , stronger and better fighter was that night, he almost called canelo daddy that night...

You are ******. You cant compare those fights to cotto - rubio. Salka is a 77th ranked 135 lbs fighter while algieri is a 140 lb fighter. At least rubio is a mandatory and ranked top 3 in the wbc ranks. TBE = The Best Excuses

Cotto vs M. Rubio is a very worthy matchup. Anyone that thinks it's ESPN level needs to reassess. Cotto does not win this one easily.

I can understand your attachment to Cotto. He's all you've got out of PR. Everyone else is a has-been or a never-was (except Trinidad-a real warrior).

Your entitled to your opinion.. i have a hard time believing Trout is good money vs Cotto a 2nd time.. first fight i had 7-5... so basically it was a close competitive fight and Trout hasnt looked great since and Cotto has... that might be a bet i would be willing to take.

Trout beat Canelo IMO, And he lost to a superior fighter in Lara. Lara got robbed vs Canelo. But trout fought better competition than Cotto did after his loss to trout. The reason why I say that is because Delvin was a tune-up and Martinez was an injured and useless excuse of an opponent for cotto. I picked martinez. I did not expect him to look that bad. Cotto fought Cherry Picks. Trout fought tough competition.

Trout has definitely fought the top guys at 154... no debating that.. i find it very hard to believe Cotto only won 1 round vs Trout... If Trout is that good and Cotto that bad.. then you got to give Cotto and his team great skills for their matchmaking.

If it is official, Boxing is just about dead. Man, Promoters be making some horse$h1t ass fights. As long as the fight is free, it should be alright. But if it is official, This fight is as big of a joke as Danny Garcia vs Rob Salsa, And Pacquiao vs Algieri. Pacquiao vs Algieri should be free. Cotto vs Rubio and Pacquaio vs Algieri belong on Friday night fights.

Get the hell out here. You keep comparing every fight to Gift Garcia vs Rob Salsa and neither Pacquiao-Algieri or Cotto-Rubio are even remotely as bad.

Rubio is a top 10 MW by any decent ranking board and is the WBC mandatory. Cotto just made history to earn that title, so the thought that he would drop it doesn't make any sense.

Danny is bringing up a LW who is ranked 77th to a catchweight above JWW, where DSG is lineal. That is a joke and neither fight is nearly as bad.

Also Cotto-Rubio will be free on HBO, just like Garcia-Salsa.

I think I had Canelo win by a point..... The KD... but a very close fight....thats why I don't get how can anybody be any bodies daddy after that fight

Did you watch the fight on silent. Try that. That is how I scored it 1 round for cotto. I don't let the crowd influence or push my decisions when I score or rescore fights that I am watching.
